Hi IQ Users,

In this next release:
  • New: Calendar: Print-Preview now supports "Print to Fit" and "Copy to Clipboard"
  • New: MapView: Print-Preview now supports user-specified scaling and "Print to X by Y pages". In a near future, these will be added to the calendar and grids !
  • New: Gantt: Press CTRL when on a bar end shows a zoom window. Editing in the zoom window is possible.
  • Improved Print-Preview toolbar
  • Fixed: HTML: Caption was not updated when pane is in auto-hide mode
  • Fixed: Pivot tables and charts for grids with names containing a space did not work
  • Fixed: Gantt: Gantt : items displayed in flat view have dates completely messed up
  • Fixed: Gantt: Insize zoom unit was always set to hours which was incorrect for most gantt scales. Better choice of insize zoom units
  • Fixed: Calendar: Sometimes the day header was badly chosen and not very useful (see The New Calendar )

And, as usual, enjoy another 90 days of free trial !

Looks good and pretty stable to me !
The Gantt "insize" zoom is a nice addition !
The calendar dates problem seem pretty much fixed. Let's see if Tom agrees!
Thanks for ffixing the gantt and the  HTML pane issues.
Haven't tried the new printing options yet. Soon...

Hi,

I'm still having trouble with not being able to see the cursor when editing new or existing items on my HP TouchSmart 610.  On my Surface Pro 2, I can see it.  I copy the portable version and all data directly from one machine to the other.  Obviously something is different on the 2 machines but I can't figure out what.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

I had problems in the past, but so far (as of 27) the cursor problems seem to have abated. Pierre suggested that other programs might be interfering. These might be ones that load on start up or that you initiate. I suggest you disable the start up ones and run IQ as the first and only program on your HP. If the cursor is visible, you have narrowed your suspects.

I should point out that these were Pierre's suggestions for the cause of  the disappearing caret. It seems that in my case, it was some other problem because so far it is fixed for me as of version 27.

So the "Google Connect" did not make it into this release?

Re Google Connect
No... there we a few bugs that required immediate fixing and decided to post a new version. Next one certainly !

Nice! (It's the new Gantt gadget :  Press CTRL when on a bar end shows a zoom window. Editing in the zoom window is possible)

Pretty helpful for the Gantt.
Just a tiny issue:  the font size or maybe "pop up" size doesn't allow to see the full end date or month dates.
Otherwise : very useful!
