This happens here periodically.  

The only connection I can make is a fast move from entering data via form & then trying to enter / alter some some data in a view.

 

Work around: close program via Task Manager & re-starting

No data is lost

 

Been working on a grid related to an older job that I'm revisiting.

Basically a ToDo list:

 

At some stage when I reopened the grid, a Y/N column had jumped to the left of the item field.

I was unable to drag it back and unable to drag item field to the left of it:

 

 

But then I noticed the number in the "#" column - turns out that *some* items are showing their ID number in the # Column.

 

I created a new grid to show the same items, and had the same problem

 

Is there a way to change the user settings directory? I would like to do it particular for portable so I can separate my program files from my data files.

I opened a view set out with a number of columns & it appeared with ONLY the item column, i.e. i have to reconstruct it one more time. This is frustrating, annoying, & has been going on for a while,. etc.

  I've been using W10 in Portable mode to track some financial data. Tried Pivot Tables several weeks ago. Cool!  Since then I added more data. Went to use the PT feature and got the error that I have no Office installed. I do, office 2007, and have for months. Nothing changed there. How do I get the capability working again? What could have made IQ think I don't have Office installed?

 

  I'm running Windows 7 and it's locked down tighter than a drum so don't suggest I dabble in the registry.  

 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Currently DateDone field is expressed in mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm::ss AM > PM

I wanted to change this to dd/mm/yyyy so 

in options I inserted <format>mm/dd/yyyy</format>

but it's not working. 

What am I doing wrong?

I've tried various formulations with this but I can't get it working

 

In essence I thought the formula should be something like 

duedate is  30 days from now but I can't get the syntax right

When item is marked datedone I have the following equation

 

 

I assumed with the above the following would happen:

 

A: if datedone is 1 (yes) then ItemForeColor=&H808080 (gray)

ME: if datedone is 0 or changed then ItemForeColor=&H000000 (black)

 

but it's not happening. 

 

Hi patient IQ Users !

Maybe in the last 3-4 months I've noticed an increase of "program no responding"

Without closing down any other program that may be open at the time, closing re-opening IQ seems to solve the problem until next time.

Anyone else?
