I can't seem to get InfoQube to launch and login from the Startup folder. The StartUp shortcut properties is:

 When I drag / drop from file location to IQ, IQ creates a link type "lnk" which doesn't / won't associate to file type (default = windows photo viewer) so nothing happens. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

 I've posted about this before, thought momentarily that i had it fixed, but no such luck.

 

Here's what I'm seeing in my file -

- many TLIs that DO have children (they ARE shown in the properties pane) DO NOT have a + bullet to indicate this, and they cannot be expanded to show the child items.

- many TLIs that DON'T have children (as confirmed in properties pane) DO have a + bullet, falsely indicating that the item has child items.

 

As you can imagine, this is a serious matter - if there are child items, you want to be aware of it and be able to see them!

 

I am quite sure this is not a case of subitems being hidden because of a filter.

 

I am wondering if this is some kind of file corruption - therefore I wondering if there was some way to export from the database and reimport into a new database - and see if these errors got fixed.

I am trying to find a way to produce a report showing all "Projects" (as defined by Getting Things Done - David Allen methodology) and the "Next Action(s)" associated to each project. Even more importantly, how to determine if any specific project does NOT have any Next Action(s) associated to it. The way the Project Field is set up in IQ by default it seems I can look at only one project at a time based on having the Project Field showing as a column in any particular grid. Then, I can filter by one Project at a time -- but if I have 50-60 projects, looking at each project one at a time to find out if it has a Next Action (or not) is way too laborious, iterative and time consuming.

From properties pane

Right click on any form > create new form

name new form

add a few existing fields

click "OK"

 

click on newly created form

form field do not drop down

form acts like a field & calls all items assigned 

 

close / re-open file, same result

create form from menu > tools > manage forms

 

What am i missing?

Attempting to start using IQ's now.

 

I made a couple of entries, then thought to search for them.

 

Question #1:

The text notes in the entries cannot be found - is this correct?

 

I think there was a thread lately involving something about upgrading calendar entries to item level-- but I couldnt find it.

 In digging through the Firefox and Thunderbird extensions I have realized its just a wrapper from InfoQubeClipper.exe. I would love to figure out to call InfoQubeClipper directly so I can call it from other places like QuickSilver on the Mac and the Chrome browser. Can you tell us more about what arguments it takes?
