After jibz comments, I was inspired to attempt a chm file of the user manual. 

So far I've got a couple of sections in. By the end of this long weekend, I should have a fair chunk in--I'm anxious to see what kind of size it will produce

 

My current plans are to post a preview here for comments, once the data is in. I also have to go back and update my sndb with the updates from January onwards

Then I'll add an index, then work the linking, etc.

 

By the way, HTML Help workshop is a "bear" (pain) to figure out, but pretty easy once you get the hang of it...

I've mentioned that problem several times since I first downloaded IQ (SQLNotes...)

 

When I export a grid to HTML and paste it in Word, I get tons of empty columns at the right of the page.

I know I sound like a broken record but why cannot someone create an Authorities or Sources form like the ones in ndxnotes and notescribe which then could be related to an outline level? Trust me I could do this in a heart beat in Access but I need the outline metaphor to categorize my research results with as much granularity as possible an Access just does not do that. InfoQube, I guess, is incredibly potent but bordering on useless for academics or any one else who needs to be able to create bibilographies or otherwise give credit to authors whose work is being cited or used.

Bug with site - I cant upload images & some older ones not showing

 

This could be a 'hiccup'

this morning the three images that were in the first post have disappeared

when I try to add an image it goes through the motions but doesnt work

I took an excerpt from that thread Import customizations where I explain how to merge a FirstName and LastName fields into the item field (... while preventing accidental deletion of the item data when the item is not a contact... that's just a bonus, but an important one IMO).

When I'm working on my desktop, the following problem does NOT exist but when I work on my netbook, it DOES exist & it is very annoying & frustrating. 

I write a lot of articles & take a lot of notes @ mtgs in the HTML pane

When text gets to the bottom of the screen, no vertical scroll bar appears & the text doesn't move up properly.

The last line of text is half hidden so it's hard to keep track of where I am, what I'm writing & what I'm thinking.

I have to add several carriage returns to add space below the last line so I can continue working.

 

This is really annoying as it breaks my whole train of thought while I futz around with this.

 

Please, please fix it soon.

I'm trying to copy paste templates in my DB, and works completely ramdomly.

 

1- Copy a few fairly deep trees of items

2- Paste them under another parent (as NEW items)

 

What happens ?

Here, only a few get pasted.

 

I thought it was my clipboard manager, but it's not.

 

 

Can anybody confirm ? Thanks.
