once again can't copy/paste properly. :(

1- select a few items, and only a few columns in a grid.
2- copy
3- Try to paste somewhere (e.g. : notepad, IQ...)... Nothing happens.

It's not my clipboard enhancer. I shut it down and same thing happens.

backup files to drop box

Pierre, on my main machine I backup to drive F
When I work on my netbook, auto backup reverts to a default location (no drive F) which is an excellent protection for the user
However, in this case the little dialog announcing default backup appears every time there is a timed backup which is a bit disturbing on the netbook
so.....

I'm wondering if the option to backup to a default location if original location is not found could be changed to
backup to a default location could occur only if there is nothing filled in the back up destination dialog.

The problem, as I see it, is that this info is carried by the database, itself, which goes back & forth via drop box

What I've done to avoid this is to auto backup to drop box but not everyone has drop box or whatever.

Would it be possible to have the backup destination not travel w the

Couple of questions on functions

Submitted by ajr on 2010/01/26 22:08
I've been going through the sample data and the equation for the field 'Duration' seems to call a function 'WorkTime'.  I'm not seeing this function in the VB Editor?

Also, when I try and create a hierarchy equation with one of my number fields, I get an error message telling me, 'Error calculating function SUM.  Verify that the function exists for field PlaceHolder".  My VB Editor does not have any code for a SUM function, but the part on hierarchy equations in section 4.042 of the manual, says that Sum is one of a few basic functions for that is already included.  I'm comparing my hierarchy equation to the ones in the sample data that use SUM, like 'Actual$', and I don't see any difference.  What am I missing?

Pop-up descriptions on website

Submitted by ajr on 2010/01/26 20:53
There are a few terms like fields and items that have a double underline where ever they appear and when the pointer rests over them, a pop-up description appears.

Apparently this description is indexed by the forum software.  A website search will include a page or a forum discussion where one of the search terms appears only in the pop-up description.  The bigger problem is in going through the list of results from the search.  When the excerpt from the search result largely consists of the pop-up description, it hinders the user in finding the relevant information.

It would be helpful if these descriptions were excluded from an index of the website.

alt+arrow occasionally rotating entire screen

Submitted by ThomR on 2010/01/26 20:48
Does this ever happen to anyone else? When trying to move items around with the alt+arrow keys, every now and then this combination will switch to producing rotations of my screen, and I can't figure out what I'm pressing to switch the functionality. I'm on Windows 7 now, but this also happened with Vista.
