can't figure out Image Viewer

Submitted by d bartlett on 2010/01/19 22:58
Hi,
I can't seem to figure out Image Viewer.  I've been presuming that once an image file has been dragged/dropped into a field Item cell and a hyperlink created and Image Viewer opened that double-clicking on the image hyperlink is supposed to load the image into Image Viewer, but what happens here is the image opens in Windows default image viewer (in my case MS Photo Editor) completely outside of InfoQube.  What am I doing wrong?

back up

With the new release (0.9.25Pre-Rel13) I can't set- up automatic back-up. I chose the back-up file options->this file-> data storage. The file is on my memory stick. It used to work with the older version of IQ, but now it doesn't. Also "create back-up on program close" doesn't work. Only manual back-up works.
Thanks,
Jay

Defatult printer doesn't stay

Submitted by jsolka on 2010/01/19 16:15
I've found out that once I turn the IQ on my default printer in the Word (and probably in other applications too) goes back to what it was before. I have several word files linked to IQ, but even if I just open the Word new document (not through IQ, but directly the Word), once IQ is on, the default printer goes to the previous setting. Even after restarting, the problem comes back -- once I turn IQ on the default printer goes back to the previous setting.
Thanks,
Jay

Browser independence

For me IQ would be a great deal more useful if it were browser independence.  I.e. it were able to web clip from ANY browser and not just IE and FF.  Zoot 6 manages this, probably by parsing the web page through the IE or FF viewer, so it is possible.

Thanks
