How?  I have a date field, and want to have another field that gives the day of the week of the date field.    9/11/09 --> Friday. 

 

1- Open one grid only

2- Select an item with MHT "content"/link

3- Open HTML pane

4- Close the grid.

 

This window is displayed :

 

In v.09.24-F

Quick search display does not include "Shown In" data on my machine

no filter from that column is engaged

Created a new grid view

In Grid Properties > Data

I clicked data entry space (Instructions say use comma separated list) to add auto assigned fields

Unless user knows fields by memory, this does not work here

using drop down box replaces, does not add field after comma

 

Either a bug, some deep IQ GUI mystery or I'm doing something wrong.

I admit I don't know too much about searching. I've always used  just the quick search mode.

 

What would be the best way to deal with the fact that in search grid only certain columns are displayed, and not necessarily the ones that are needed?

Open a grid view w/o properties or html pane

click on an item w html content

<F12> 

(no content)

Version 0.9.24F

Drag drop a folder from file manager to IQ

with just 'File Name' selected, it still show the full file path in the Item field

 

(this was the case with last version as well, I only noticed this morning)

The following is not new to this version & not new to this forum either but I don't know how / why it happens & how to fix it. May be a bug &  may not be a bug.

New version is now available. No new features, but some critical bug fixes.

Browsing back and forth between items will fix it. Don't know exactly why that happens. I think I updated to ie8 the other day -- could it be linked to that ?
