How to create a default grid template, including column order?

Submitted by carloscadu on 2019/05/30 09:54

Hello,
I'd appreciate your help.
I could set through field properties the fields I want to "include in new grids" (snapshot below).
However, when I create a new grid the fields are put - automatically - in a column order that doesn't fit my needs.
How to create a default grid template also including the column order?
Thanks for the assistance,
Carlos

Grid>Sort>None(Manual) is set, but I close/reopen IQ and sort changes automatically. How to avoid it, and stick manual sorting?

Hi,

I'd appreciate help.
As shown in the snapshot, even with "Grid>Sort>None(Manual)" set, when I close/reopen IQ the sorting changes automatically.
My manual sorting is kept just during the same session, being overlapped by IQ automatic sorting each new session.
How to avoid it, and stick with TRUE manual sorting?

Thank you!
Carlos

Surface isn't showing items properly (just a right red border appearing for any number of inserted items)

Submitted by carloscadu on 2019/05/27 10:25

Hi,

Just reporting that the Surface aren't shown items (just a right red border appearing for any number of inserted items), as shown in this screencast: http://bit.ly/2VTVkwC
The problem is there even after:
- Restart IQ
- Close/reopen Surface
- Change zoom scale
- Remove all items from Surface, then adding new items (that will become the red border again)

Any workaround to reset Surface view to properly show items?
Would it be a bug?

Best,
Carlos

How to set IQ to fill AUTOMATICALLY FileName/FilePath for new items added into certain grid?

Submitted by carloscadu on 2019/05/26 15:55
Hi,

I'd appreciate help.
I already realized that IQ can "auto-assign field list" (grid properties), and I had success handling a simple yes/no field.
Nonetheless, my real scenario is more complex, and as a new IQ user I'm not so sure how to go ahead, and even if the answer for thread question "How to set IQ to fill AUTOMATICALLY FileName/FilePath for new items added into certain grid?" would be the best workflow to handle my need.

Let me clarify my scenario in details through this screencast (http://bit.ly/30HH8dG), and more briefly as follows:

1) I created a grid having as source the yes/no field "statistics".

Solved: Lost WYSIWYG

Submitted by WayneK on 2019/05/26 11:52
Several oddities have popped up that I've been unable to fix:

1) "WYSIWYG" option is grayed out in column menu

2) "Show HTML codes" option is grayed out in column menu

3) When I edit multi-line text in a grid cell:
   a) Text changes to a single-line that disappears at the right cell border
   b) Scroll bar appears on the right side of the cell
   c) Clicking on the scroll bar opens a filter dialogue (!?)

I thought (3) was somehow related to (1) but in other files WSYIWYG option does not cause (3) behavior.

Occurs in only one file.  Tried rebooting.   Menu settings are identical to files that work.

Unnecessary/extra borders on doc pane when viewing MHT and PDF content

Submitted by carloscadu on 2019/05/24 18:27
Hi,

I'm using InfoQube 0.9.113 (2019-05-22).
As shown in this screen-recording (http://bit.ly/2wsgnMF) and in the snapshot below, if you access an item set to shown MHT or PDF content on doc pane, unnecessary/extra borders are appearing.
Examining further, I realized the borders are from a previously HTML item content that remains visible, overlapping the MHT or PDF shown on doc pane.

Thank you!

Drag & Drop from the HTML Viewer into the outline pane generates a "phantom" layer which remains on screen after minimizing IQ

Hi,

I'm using InfoQube 0.9.113 (2019-05-22).

As shown in this screen-recording (http://bit.ly/2wjveZC) and in the snapshot below, drag & drop from the HTML Viewer into the outline pane generates a "phantom" layer which remains on the screen even after minimizing InfoQube.

The problem happens only for pages clipped as HTML.

Universal clipper not capturing content from certain webpages accessed using Chrome (last clipboard item inserted instead)

Hi,

As shown in this screen-recording (http://bit.ly/2wirjfo), the universal clipper not capturing from certain webpages accessed using Chrome and Chromium variations (e.g. Slimjet). Instead, the last clipboard item is being inserted. Using Firefox there is no issues at all.

If you select certain amount of content, the clipper works. But if you select all content (i.e.
