A bug was found which can cause you to loose the content of a grid cell (in particular, the item), so it is important to download the latest version (or copy the LatestBuild)

 

 

 

To trigger the bug:

Fixed.

 

It is important that all users install this fix... there has been very few issues that caused data to be lost, and we're quite proud of it, but this bug can cause you to loose some of your precious information.

 

- If I swish back and forth quickly between  2 items, the properties pane might "stick" and diplay the wrong item data.

- See also the problem with properties pane sync when adding items through add item dialog.

 

I'll try to come back with details on how to reproduce that, But that's pretty much it.

a  quick event entry to follow the following protocol

event + time  (am / pm) + location (@)

 

so user could open a quick event dialog <CTRL>+Q

like google calendar & enter

 

dinner w Pierre next sun 5-8pm (early bird special) @ iHop

and IQ would add this event to the calendar on the correct date

 

Google quick event understands

next saturday vs saturday, etc

Hi

Just installed Pre4. The Calendar menu is still flashing, only now when I click on the Calendar grid tab a second time the menu continues to flash instead of fixing the problem as in Pre3.

Repeated this 3x

did not restart computer to try again

Steps to recreate

 

go to html pane

delete line of extra space 3x

on 3x, program closes prematurely.

A few days ago, after executing Item/Select Item to select-hilight an entire row in an attempt to copy/paste that entire row from Address Book back into Address Book as a similar data row entry, some sort of selection default was altered such that now, when working within any grid and clicking on any cell within any row, the entire row is automatically selected-hilighted insted of just the cell.  Before the aforementioned copy/paste attempt only just the clicked-upon cell would initially be selected-hilighted, but now it's the entire row by default.  A ground-level result of this change is that I can no longer select a single cell and use keyboard Ctrl+c / Ctrl+V to do a simple simple copy / paste from one cell to another because the more complicated "What do you want to copy?" Menu gets activated instead.  How do I return to the former state where clicking on a cell selected-hilighted only the cell and entire row selection was accomplished
