I've assigned a shortcut to Back Color (item > back color), but it doesn't work. I checked in the "user.shortcut.tab" file and it's there. I've tried to reload the file, etc.

Is there another option for moving tabs other than drag and drop?   Dragging doesn't work well for me.

First, another thank you for tab colors.  It makes it much easier to navigate when you have a lot of tabs open.

 

I've noticed, though, that the tab colors are lost when focus goes to another window.  All other InfoQube colors are maintained except for the tabs.  When you copy/paste stuff from another program, you can't use the color scheme to go directly to the destination tab.

 

I'm guessing this is a Windows function that can't be changed.  A tiny issue that I only bring up because I copy/paste a lot.  Feel free to ignore.

 Can Tags be reference by VBA Functions?

 

1) Firefox clipper can't be used on current Firefox edition.

 

2) I was using the universal clipper but it eventually stopped working.  I thought I'd give it another try but when I go to options the clipper section (1.6.19) is grayed out and can't be set.

 

Is there anything I can do to get the clipper to work in Firefox?

I'm not sure how to reproduce the problem mentioned in the subject line, but often when I click on a tab to focus it, it closes the tab or even all tabs currently open. No idea what does that.

 

I'm on 111d.

I'm continuing to have an ongoing array of ever-changing erratic behaviors.  Some examples:

 

1)  I clicked on a link to an item in another grid.  The other grid opened, but was blank.  I verified that the link had the correct item ID.  Repeated tries brought up the same blank grid.  Then it suddenly started working every time, even though I'd changed nothing and was doing nothing different.

 

2) Used column filter to find a subtem I knew was in the grid.  Filter result was blank.  Repeated filter 5-10 times with the same blank result, then suddenly it started finding the subitem correctly every time.

As far as IQ Dev is concerned, it is generally clear in my mind what next steps need to be.

 

It seems there are too many options right now, so I've got a small survey for you as to the next feature you'd like implemented:

I've had two identical crashes of 111c in the past 30 minutes.

 

1) Double-click on an item to edit it

2) Error message pops up that begins with "Run-time Error..." but then disappears too quickly for me to read more.

3) At the same time, tabs begin rapidly closing, then the program disappears.

4) When I start back, some of my tabs are gone and several have lost their color

5) Returning to edit the same item as before does not cause a repeat of the problem.

 

Don't know if the abbreviated error message is enough for a clue as to what might be happening.

 

I see d is out so I'll upgrade to that.

Right-click>drag pdf file to grid.

 

Should show an arrow allowing you to drop the link as a subitem to an existing item.  Instead, now it shows only a red line, and link can only be added as a TLI.
