I'd observed this a couple of times before but couldn't reproduce it until now:

 

Create an item with this text (paste as single item, might want to lose the quotes):

 

 

"For up/down arrows:

    None: Focus Next / Previous item
    Shift: Select items
    Ctrl: Scroll view up / down
    Ctrl + Shift: Focus Next / Previous item + Scroll
    Alt: Move items Up / Down
    Shift + Alt: Focus Next / Previous sibling
    Shift + Alt + Ctrl: Focus Next / Previous sibling, add sibling if at end
 

With a parent / child branch expanded in the grid view, try to drag and drop another item to be the topmost child under the top level parent, i.e. to be item 1.1 just under item 1.

This will succeed only if you release the mouse button with the cursor on the top half of the grid line that holds the current topmost child (1.1 before the drop). If you drop on the bottom half of the parent item, dropped item will be sent further down to become the next top level item (i.e. item 2 - this is the bug). If you wait for the cursor to change (hover over the bottom half of item 1) before releasing, dragged item will become the bottmost child, i.e. item 1.5 or something.

Bottom line: when branch is expanded, drop without hover over bottom half of parent item should make dropped item top child, not sibling to parent item (like it would if the branch wasn't expanded).

Minor suggestion: make selected tab color the same "selected" color used for items, tags, and forms.  Right now, the current selected tab is indicated only by bold font, which really doesn't stand out much in a long list of colored tabs.

1) Select Item: Green-3|&h82E6CD

2) Enter edit mode (F2)

3) Item changes to: Green-3 (ampersand and everything after it are deleted).

 

This occurs any time an item contains "&".

 

When I go to another file, it doesn't do this.

 

Any ideas?

 Hi, I have one IQ file shared via LAN with my colleagues. 

 

on one PC i tried to edit by add a new record, some funny thing happened, after I enter a text or number in corresponding fields, it appears but after cursor moved to other field that text/number I entered disappeared.

 

for linked value field, I just can not make the choosed linked value appear on that field.

 

I updated his windows 10,, after that , still same happen.

 

anyone have any solution or suggestion to fix this problem ?

When filtering a multi-select column, you can see all your column values in a list, and check the boxes you want to filter on (by setting: Grid>Column Filter>Select "List Values).

 

When filtering the Tags column, however, you're not shown a list of tag values to pick (just a blank space to type in).

 

If I'm correct about this, it'd be nice if Tags filtering had the same list selection as the multi-selection list.

 Hello,

   I was looking for a way to add a "Locked" column to the grids so I could see instantly which items are locked or not.   I did find the solution in the Help file  to drag it from the "Properties" window to the grid column  but I'm  curious why I can't add it from the "Add Columns" window and doesn't show as selected in there also.

I've noticed from the beginning that there is often a delay before the tags pane updates to match changes in the tags grid. 

 

In the current case, many of the changes were made more than a day ago but still were not reflected in the tags pane.  I started to detail examples of this in this post but while I was verifying the problem in InfoQube, the changes suddenly showed up.

 

Is there something I can do to get the Tags Pane to update?  I've tried refreshing the tags grid but that didn't do anything.
