Pasted paragraphs are out of order

The order of pasted text is getting scrambled.

I've run into this repeatedly today while copying text from different websites:

1) Select text on webpage (multiple paragraphs)

2) Copy text (Ctrl-C)

3) Select empty item in InfoQube

4) Paste text (Ctrl-V> 2 "Paste all lines into selected item(s)")

This creates a separate item for each paragraph, as it should, but the order of paragraphs is scrambled.

Here's an example of a webpage where this happened, just in case it's somehow related to the webpage source:

Way to remove a level X child item from its parent(s) and turn it into a TLI in the current grid with minimal visual feedback

I found I could use 'hoist on -> Alt-Left once or a couple of times -> hoist off' but it creates a lot of visual feedback, I'd love to have a mostly invisible way of doing this. Thanks!

Automatically drop as child item on drag and drop to header column

With the current modus operandi in grids, there is about a five second (?) delay before the angled arrow icon appears next to the mouse cursor and you can drop an item as the child of the item under the cursor. How about doing this immediately once an item is dropped with the mouse cursor over the header column rather than any of the others? That would speed things up for me... :-)

Filter Dialogue

Are there any plans to improve how filtering is done?

It was suggested that it be done via a dialogue pop up with a list of values that you can filter by.  You then simply check the values you want to display.  Everything would be direct and simple.

I find the current system difficult to figure out and I have tried many times, including spending hours setting up filter test cases to better understand how things work.  I've never been able to create exactly what I want.

The Surface

This feature is something I was super interested in at one point, but the implementation is such that I never used it. Things position themselves incorrectly, there is no way to drag things around the way I'd like etc. I could record a video but I am not sure it's even required? I assumed the limitation was from the UI element it's based on.

Has this improved in the last several years and is there any way to make it more responsive without a tremendous amount of work? A nice mind mapping canvas for IQ would be pretty incredible.

Grid Filter Suggestion

When a grid filter is in effect (eg column filter), any items added to the grid should remain in view even if they don't meet the filter requirements.

Right now, you cannot directly add a new item to a filtered view because the blank item disappears immediately (if that's not correct, let me know!)..

This would match hoisting behavior where new items are automatically added to the hoist and remain in view.

Did something go wrong with the paste options in v117Pre13?

Paste option 1 for multi-line text seems to be broken ("Paste 0 line"?). As it is, it doesn't seem to do anything when selected.

Also, shouldn't option 3 only appear when multiple items are selected? I would expect option 1 to paste all lines into the currently focused item as it did before the bug crept in.
