The new multi-field sync is a great feature. I am wondering how difficult it would be to extend it to text-fields.

Example:

Field with AutoList of Values -> Status with values: OnHold, Completed etc.

WIKITag -> {Status:OnHold} would set the field Status to the value OnHold. It could be something other than the : to differentiate between the field and the value.

Calendar as Detached View is fantastic so far.

Sometimes however, when I am resizing the window, I get "blue space" which does not get filled up with a resized calendar based on the new window size.

I cannot reproduce the issue reliably, but it it is happening.

To clarify my earlier post - I find that if I load a layout (that includes the HTML Pane) the Pane appears. I press F11, it disappears. But F11 doesn't toggle - if I press it again, the Pane doesn't come back, as (pre-0.9.85a) it did.

in one of the grids in one of my databases, the outline numbers (the grey column) that should be appearing on the left, for some reason decided to place themselves in the middle of the grid, with columns on either side. After trying various things (moving columns around, removing and re-adding columns) they have now disappeared altogether. Posting this in the bug forum but maybe it's a setting I've inadvertently altered. But I didn't think this was an actual column that could be moved around. Any way I could get them back?

 

This was on first opening this grid in 0.9.85a.

 

Also, has F11 to hide/display panes stopped working?

Any tricks I don't know to assign several fields quickly?  In Evernote I can just click in the Tags areas of a note, type a few letters, and assign a tag.  Allows me to assign several tags to a note very quickly.

 

What is the fastest way to do the same in IQ with fields (for an item), when they don't exist in the grid as a column?  Obviously I know different ways it can be done, with forms or fields in the properties pane.  But I don't find either particularly fast.

Both of these are different issues related to scroll bar behavior:

 

1. I have my inbox grid set to sort by ItemCreated.  If I have it set to sort descending (ascending?), every time I open it, it is scrolled all the way to the bottom.  If I scroll to the top where it should be, and then close the grid, when I reopen the grid, it's scrolled all the way to the bottom again.  If I reverse the sort order, it opens scrolled all the way to the top, as it should.  So it's the sort order that causes this issue.

 

2.

Opening/moving grids in/to the biggest tab zone/group is often a problem here, everyday. 

 

I tend to set my work space in a specific way (specific grids in specific tab groups) and will often reduce the size of some zones (they become barely visible) to be able to see the data differently, etc.
 

And I also often use the omnibox to switch between grids and between zones, and IQ will then disrupts the way grids are grouped by moving grids around to the wider space... And I really don't want that.

Could this new feature be an option we can turn on/off?

I've been creating links to items using the Item ID number.  I've noticed that if the link is to a subitem, it opens in the search grid instead of the home grid for the item.

 

Is that the way it's supposed to work?  I want the links to open in the home grid, not the search grid.

I have, for example:

Item1

  Item 1.1

    Item 1.1.1

    Item 1.1.2

 

When I search for Item 1.1 (using the Omnibar), IQ finds it. However, the found Item 1.1 can not be expanded to show it's children. How do I search to find the item with its children (like in Ecco)?
