MHT to HTML Export problem

Submitted by davet on 2011/05/01 08:11
Pierre,

I cannot select a group of items that have MHT in the editor pane and export them to HTML. In most cases I can't see where I'd want to do this anyway because I'd lose all my images...and the reason I am using MHT in the first place is to save images. It seems to me it would make more sense to be able to save (or export) a selection of items with MHT panes as a composite MHT file.

Video: /drupal5/files/351/MHT export to HTML problem.swf (Note: Sorry for wandering mouse cursor in video. I don't know why that happened.)

BTW. I could not upload videos yesterday. I tried to upload the above video many times, but I just kept getting the uploading dialog box that would never complete. I even tried logging out and waiting awhile several times, but I still could not upload. I tried remaking the video too, and that did not work either.

opened writing grid > suddenly w/o columns

Submitted by jan_rifkinson on 2011/04/29 16:33
I had a grid all set up for all my writing projects, i.e.
research
draft status
due dates
publications
publication dates
# of words
published
etc
etc

Today when I opened the grid, only item "column" appeared

I'm not afraid that my data was lost or that I can't re-construct the grid but this is a weird one along with
the inability to paste which is in another thread w a screen capture

I d/l the latest version, jumping over a few in between because they mostly dealt with Gantt charts which I'm not currently using.
Don't know if that could be involved.
I have absolutely no idea why this happened.
I'm afraid to look @ other grids to see if they are all right but it makes no difference one way or the other although I will report back.

Enhanced Rich Text Pane Consideration (M)

Pierre,

It seems to me that you might be able to create Word or PDF documents from any arrangement of items if there were a way to compile the editor windows like in Scrivener.  You might consider this when creating the new RTF editor features. I don't know if that would be practical...this may be very difficult to implement.

It looks like Scrivener is great for writers, but it has no project management or task management capabilities whatsoever...nor does it have many of the other information management features that are available in IQ. So, at this point in time, I am considering using IQ for project management, task management, and general all around information management. But, I am thinking of using Scrivener (when they finish the Windows version) for writing, because of the way you can compile any arrangement of outlined items.

Hi IQ Users,

Internet Explorer 9 is not compatible with many rich-text editing products and IQ is no exception. In waiting for MS to wake up, do NOT install IE9.

Warning: It is currently being pushed as part of Win7 automatic updates so it may get installed without you knowing it.
