Gantt chart date and Task ID problems v.0.9.25P3 (M)

  1. Entering and End date that is earlier than a Start date draws a Gantt bar (illegal operation)
  2. You can manually enter a Task ID (Would be better if it were write protected and auto generated) See comments below.
  3. Task IDs do not show until a dependency is made. (Task ID should show when task is created)

Crash associated with Field Properties in P3

I have a grid with and outline but no columns. I can add columns with the Add/Remove Column option when I right-click the header. However if I go to Field Properties and choose to add a column by  ticking the show box, I get a crash after saving and clicking close.
 
I was hoping that we had seen the last of these types of issues with the 25 series.

Question about Ecco import

Normally I import one Ecco file into a unique IQ database. I now have to import more than one and find that nothing imports after the first imported Ecco file. Does this have to do with Ecco IDs? If so, there is no selection in the import dialogue as there was in earlier IQ versions. Is unticking "Do not import item if already imported" the way to go?

v0.9.25 has been in development for quite some time, more than 1 year in fact , but we can finally say that it is complete and fully functional .
 
This doesn't mean that work on v0.9.26 hasn't started, in fact, we've been working on it for more than 6 months.
 
v0.9.26 is entirely focused on an improved Calendar.

Creating new item with mouse in P3

I have Ecco bullets set to display under options.
 
If I use my mouse instead of the keyboard to create a new item, I get an Ecco style bullet that indicates the presence of a sub item. Refresh fixes the erroneous display, but this is misleading for a new user.

P.S. Further testing shows that this condition exists whether Ecco bullets are active or not.

Gantt chart problems in version P (M)

  1. Cell selection is still fickle.
  2. Should not be able to change Start and Finish dates in Summary bar.
  3. Summary bar is non-standard.
  4. Next ID is non standard with respect to project management. Standard term is Predecessor Successor.
  5. When moving tasks with dependencies, the dependent tasks should move too.
