If you haven't received your license...

I'd like to thank all those that have made a donation. Your help is greatly appreciated and helps me concentrating on IQ (as opposed to getting outside contracts to pay the bills).

I've sent an email to all those that have donated $50 or more, containing the license info. This license disables the beta version expiration, enabling you to use IQ for as long as you wish.

If you haven't received this email (caught up in spam filters perhaps), please contact me directly and provide an alternate email address, phone number, etc where you can be reached.

Thanks again!

Pierre

Shortcuts (F7-F8, etc.) to navigate in the grid from HTML pane don't work well here when MHT content.

Shortcuts to navigate in the grid from the HTML pane don't work well here when there's MHT content for some items.

They'll work once but then focus will go to the grid and stay there, which is pointless, of course.

(If confirmed, I can add it to mantis.)

When column filter is ON, shouldn't we still be able to create a "visible" new item ?

When column filter is ON I think that the user should still be able to create a new *visible*  item (in the currently used grid), at least for editing purposes. This is not possible a the moment which makes wiorking with column filters difficult..

Discussion about WikiTags

In Smart Fields (aka smart folders) a discussion started about WikiTags.

So here's a thread to talk about it... :)

CamelCase, { } or comma separated...  : I personally don't mind the CamelCase. it takes less space (chars), especially if one is using the same tags all over, not just in IQ. But I think that it could be even simpler : each term put in the WikiTags field (camel case or not) should be a WikiTag, and only for those longer expression would there be a need for {} or what ever. The field already defines specific data, so why also use "{ }" ?   IMO "{ }"  should be used only to reference WikiTags from other fields.

Right now, IQ isn't really using a real WikiTag system anyways... since writing a word put in  { } (or [ ], or camel case... in other progs..) in any field doesn't tranform it into a wiki link as it would in a wiki application.
