horizontal & vertical groups

It appears, IQ can create either horizontal or vertical groups but not both.  There are occassions when I thought I would create a small box within a verticle group but this doesn't seem possible. I've seen this UI in another program & it seems to permit more choices than those offered here, i.e. ability to open a pane within a pane.  Would that be possible to implement in IQ? Thanks.

Anyone using a Clipboard extender with IQ?

I ask cause I'm using Clipboard Help + Spell from donationcoder
and it doesnt work in the html pane -
Ctrl+Alt+V is the shortcut - I choose what I want to paste, but nothing gets pasted (it makes the "I'm pasting" noise FWIW)
on second attempt (simply using Ctrl+V) the chosen text gets pasted - so it does work but in a very roundabout way.
 
So I'm wondering which software has the problem here - I think it the Clip prog but not at all sure -
 
are you using an extender and if so, which one and is it working okay ???

Neither of these functions seem to work on my system
 
(1) default html - changed according to directions re: newHTML

edit html

I created a new item via <CTRL>N
added the item title, entered copy in the data entry area
saved item
 
After item was saved I realized I needed to add more data
 
The only option I see to edit is via word, etc.
 
Comment / Question:
 
Is this to tell me that I have to buy "Word" to edit in IQ?
If so, I think that's ridiculous 
I have Open Office Writer & can save to html but when I do that the edited page does not display
 
So what other choices do I have? Is this a bug?  Is there any way to imbed / display a .doc or .txt file within an html page?

page display

Situation:
 
I finished my electronic banking on my bank's seccure server.  The bank presented a receipt page
Since I have not found any web clipper to properly copy this page except for scrapbook, I copied the page in scrapbook
Then I opened this saved file & linked it to IQ
When I looked @ IQ, the link was listed but clicking on this link did nothing. It didn't call Firefox or IE or display window. 
I think it should at least call the file somehow.
BTW, this method works in URp
