Is this possible now? Example, <Enter> adds item below selected item. Maybe <ctrll><shft> could add item above selected item

Use for this for me is as follows:

Inbox, is essentially clearing house for all data incoming to IQ. I have it sorted on item create date so most current is at top of list rather than at bottom.  Thx

Delete From Grid Only

Submitted by David_H on 2009/01/08 08:48
Normally when I delete an item it asks me if I want to delete it from the grid or all grids.  However I have some items that exist in multiple grids that only give me the option of deleting from all grids.  But I don't want to delete from all grids.  Any idea what causes this?  FWIW the way it happened is that I was experimenting with the right click feature called "add tagged items as sub-items".  It added a bunch of sub-items under the main item, and now no matter what I do, when I click on those sub-items it only gives me the option of "erase entirely from file - all grids".  I also notice that if I click through the various sub-items which go several levels deep, in the properties window only the top level item shows that it is in more than one grid, even though in actuality ALL the sub-items are in more than one grid.

Problems pasting in field for multiple-items

Okay it's working after restart but thought I'd report in case (and dont want to waste all that typing :p)

Wierd behaviour here

I select info in one field for multiple items,
example Grid - all fields are text fields:-

Item |      Feature#____|_   Figure#    |
1        CV037-049----
2        CV039-018----
3        CV021-024----

I copy the Feature# field from the 3 items
CV037-049----
CV039-018----

Feature Request - HTML Clipper

Submitted by brnorman on 2009/01/07 11:09
I am using the Firefox HTML clipping function quite a bit.  The way I currently use it is to clip content to a "WebPages" grid and clip links to a "WebLinks" grid.  Whenever I switch between them the clipper defauts to the grid I used last.  What I'd like to see is a separate "default" grid for each of the two separate functions in Firefox.

Problem with Auto-Assign rule (it used to work!)

I havent used these fields in a long time but they worked last time used ...

Changed (YES/NO field) should change colour of item and add date to DateChanged field
-
it no longer adds the date to DateChanged field

Equation for Changed is
A:DateChanged=int(date)|E:DateChanged= |AM: ItemColor="darkblue" | E:ItemColor="yellow"

so the first bit isnt working - I notice there's no space between first & second parts [...date)|E:Date...]
so I tried adding a space there but it's still not working (even after restart)

DateChanged is a date field
Default Value  =int(now())
Equation:  yy-MM-dd

Any ideas on what might have gone wrong?
