v119 is now available for download !

Quite a few usability enhancements are included in this release including a new Find / Filter dialog (as announced here: Unified Find / Filter dialog), Back Links, and Copy / Paste of fields and tags from one IQBase to another 😮👍

I discovered InfoQube a few months ago (from Paul Miller's Blog). It is by far one of the best PIM I have ever run into, for the following reasons:

I really like the way tags work in IQ. The tags pane's Nb count column is super helpful in giving me a quick overview of what I have in my tag system.
What might be even more helpful is if I can run a filter from the tags pane so Nb would reflect only a subset of what I have in my tag system based on status.

Some example use cases:

I am using Notepad++ which shows Syntax coloring for various scripting languages.
IQ's VB editor shows Syntax coloring for VB scripts.

Can the Doc pane also show Syntax coloring? If so how?
I tried to save a colored script to html in Notepad++ (for import to IQ) but the colors disappeared :-(.

(This is not a feature request, just a question if it can currently already be done somehow)
 

p.s. I am wondering because I wanted to collect several scripts in an IQ database. Syntax coloring makes it easier to read.

Live-Search from an Omnibox search would be much more useful to me if:

1. I could tell immediately which items are marked Done.

Please note: I usually have a Done grid open but it is filtered to only show the items marked Done during the last week so I can check on those quickly and maybe remove the Done value to get items to show back in their original grid (filtered to not show Done items). So in Live-Search results I currently only get values for Done if the item was marked done during that period.

After restarting IQ, upon hitting enter for the first search from the Omnibox ('Search entire file'), unless Live-Search was the last selected grid in the previous session or it was the focused grid at least once before I do the first search, the ShownIn column for the upcoming Live-Search results is not populated with values. I have to re-focus the Omnibox to press Enter a second time to get the same results but with actual values in that column.

I created the notes grid. What ever data I add to it vanishes when I 1) his refresh 2) exit out of iq and go back in

I cannot get data records to remain in the grid.

I wanted to collect related Grids under one common Tab. It is easier to navigate and reduces the number of open Tabs. I used the Dashboard to accomplish this. The "Main-Grid" is just a place holder for all the Sub-Grids (#1- #3 in this case):

I am trying to filter a ToDo date to be Today in the sourcebar. What is the correct syntax?

I tried:
ToDo=Today
ToDo=0
but neither works

(I know that I could alternatively also use the Date filter)
