My finding and filtering functions haven't been working correctly for quite a while.

1) Cannot access the new find / filter function.  Ctrl-F  shortcut doesn't work for me (goes to "find").  Tried to reset it in "customize shortcuts" but cannot find "Find / Filter" command there.  Also cannot find it in pulldown menus.  So right now I can't use it at all.

Before there was an option to reset shortcuts without deleting custom ones.  That option is no longer available.

Can I use script to find out an Item's Tags?

I just want to confirm that it is not possible to use wildcards with "Find and Replace"?

For example, I tried to append a bunch of items with "app" like this

Find: *
Replace: *app

On the other hand, the new Find dialog supports wildcards (but not to replace).

(This is not a feature request).
 

Hi everyone,

I may be misunderstanding how Item > Sub-Items > Show Levels... works.  If I have previously set the grid to show all levels for all items, when I refresh the grid it goes back to showing 2 levels, or vice versa. How can I keep the number of shown levels the same as what I chose earlier.  The grid has a custom sort order and group (by priority), so when I change priorities I want to refresh the list order, but not collapse all the sub-items back to closed.

Case 1:  Within InfoQube, I often create items by splitting the content of a lengthy single note into multiple items having less content.

Case 2: The clipboard is filled with content from external applications (browser, text editor, etc.) and I'd like to create a new item by pasting the clipboard into InfoQube.

When I use a grid's Group-By Bar and drag a date column to it (Due, with no specified date format), it groups items per month, so the groups are named 2022-01, 2022-02, etc.

How do I specify that I want the items grouped by day, so 2022-02-01, 2022-02-02, 2022-02-03, etc?

Steps:

- Start IQ

- Brand new install, sample DB (Welcome)

- File -> Find and replace : select

- Dialog appears. Close it -- or do some search and then close it (doesn't change the next behaviour)

- File -> Find and replace : select

- Nothing happens.

Basically, the dialog can not be opened a second time once it's been closed.

This is maybe not a bug, but just unclear.

The manual states (The Properties Pane | 1.5 All Fields):
"If the field has the same name as a grid, an arrow is shown after the field name:  . Click this arrow to open it"
However, for some fields, when I click on it, the Scratch Pane is opened instead.

I suspect that this is because the Grid source is actually a Tag, so the Scratch Grid is shown instead?
In this case, there should be no arrow?

I have set double-click action to edit cell. However, that stopped working in v119Pre7 (it worked fine in v119Pre5)

I made a mistake and need to change an item's creation date. Is that in any way possible ?
