Website tags

Is there a way for a user to delete website tags?  I made a KeithBtest, then renamed it to KeithB, but KeithBtest remains. Might there be a way to set up the site to automatically delete a tag, if there is nothing associated with it?

Question about efficiency and database structure

Submitted by Anonymous on 2008/12/08 17:46
The inbox grid changes its source from "Inbox" to "Reference" when the due data is filled in.

In terms of the internal structure of the database, does this change of source make any difference? That is, does separating the new from the old finished items make the Inbox any faster to access than if you just filtered on the due date?

Thanks,
Mark

Repair a database that won't open

Submitted by srv181 on 2008/12/08 14:00
Help!
I had my project database open all afternoon. Then I closed for an hour, came back, and now it will not open anymore.
A strange message shows at the bottom of the screen (see attachment).

Trying to repair won't work because the only option under Database Tools> is "compact" and using that does not change anything. But other databases open fine - just not the one i need reight now.

This is really awful, I need this data to finish a presentation document tomorrow morning.

Is there some other way to access the Repair function for a database file that won't open?

Thanks

How do I mark an item done?

Submitted by Anonymous on 2008/12/08 09:44
I've got the "Done" field in my Inbox grid (which I've pretty much re-done). But clicking Ctl-M doesn't put the date in the "Done" field. The field "Done" is marked as the "done" box in the field properties list.

I suppose I could make my own "DoneCheck" field with a checkbox, but I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks,
Mark

Item Formatting

REMINDER
  • InfoQube supports Rich-text formatting for grids, items and the HTML editing pane.
  • Editing in the HTML pane is similar to word-processors. See 4. Document Pane.
  • In grids, formatting is structured as a hierarchy. In increasing order of precedence, these are:

Size HTML Pane Differently for Different Grids

Submitted by David_H on 2008/12/07 23:24
I would really like to see is the ability to size the HTML pane differently from one grid to another.  Which I suspect is simple a matter of "remembering" the HTML pane position for each grid.  In some grids I do not want to use the HTML pane at all.  In others I do and also want it to fill about half of the screen.  And in others yet, I want to use it, but only on a small part of the screen.  Right now it appears that it requires manually changing it every single time I switch grids.

Thanks
