Every time I try to use copy / paste function -- even w the new fancy dialog (much better, thank you) -- sometimes I still end up with confusing results like:

 

<CTRL><D/D> works like gangbusters but isn't always a convenient solution

Maybe it's just me. I'd like to hear from others on this matter.

Which talks about the "cute" online outliner http://thinklinkr.com/.

 

It references quite a few outliner-type applications, but not a mention of InfoQube

 

 

 

 I've added links to a number of jpg files that display properly in the HTML pane, but I've come across a couple that don't.  As far as I can tell, the format of the images and items is identical to the ones which display properly.  These jpgs have all been saved to a local folder.

 

The jpgs in question:

 

 After dragging and dropping an .mov file I was not able to open it by clicking on the hyperlinked Item name.

 

When I changed the option to 'Show open with", I could open the file by clicking on the FileFullName field, but clicking on the Item name still did not work.

I link a lot.

 

I select item text to link <CTRL>+K search for other item, go to it, add item ID & save

I'm wondering if there is another way to quickly associate (drag / drop) an item ID into link dialog, skipping the search steps

Does drag and drop work on items and sub-items? It seems I remember at one time drag and drop was a little touchy. I can't seem to get it to work at all in trying to re-organizing sub-items.

Several times recently, I've typed a lot of text in a grid cell,  then moused to another cell, and in doing so, the text didn't stay.

 

Is there a reason it works this way, rather than saving the way the arrow key/tab key, f2 does?

Jan, I experimented with various things you asked for, and this seems to be working pretty well for me.
