I noticed that with my favourite option ('Grid|Highlight focused cell') disabled, when dragging (top-level) items upwards in the grid, there is a slight glitch that produces a selection of two items after the drag operation rather than no item being selected / highlighted. To reproduce:

1. Drag up on an item moving the mouse pointer only a few millimeters so that the horizontal red drag indicator will show but that the item won't actually be moved as it will be dropped back in the same position when releasing the mouse button. The result is a selection of the dragged item and the item above it.

2. The same will happen when dragging up to a higher position and moving the mouse pointer to just above the horizontal red drop indicator (but not so far that it will be repositioned).

 I have a dual monitor setup with IQ (version 0.9.115e 2020-05-15) open on one monitor and a web browser open on the second. While I am using the web browser, and it is the active application on the second monitor, middle clicking will sometimes close a tab in IQ. Worse, holding down the middle button and dragging the mouse downward (as if to read a page) causes multiple tabs to close. I have been able to replicate the problem, but the behavior is not consistent.

 

Any help troubleshooting is appreciated.

I've recorded my screen showing two situations in which the focus is changing improperly from the item/docpane to the search box, when the search interface is opened at same time (as a Grid or Docked):

 

a) I was editing an item on the grid, then tried to add "space". However, just by pressing "space" the focus changed to the search box: https://bit.ly/3ebmRTS

* Note that in the same screencast I started pointing another problem that is the cursor disappearing when edit an item. Also, often the cursor disappears on the search box.

 

b) I was trying to paste (ctrl+v) on the docpane of the selected item.

Tried a couple of browsers and notepad, with IQ 115d and 115e

Win+C Shortcut no longer working here (Win 10) to create new item from clipboard

 

can anyone else confirm or deny?

I perused every category/command looking for the assignment of ALT+A, and couldn't find it.

However, when I try to customize a command shortcut by assign ALT+A, IQ informs it is in use. 

Is there an assignment to ALT+A that is not listed on Grid's Customize>Keyboard?

I've started using VeraCrypt for my data files with InfoQube and wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions as to whether there's any foreseen problems that may occur.  I'm using a Encrypted File Container and all seems to be working well, I just don't want to get a few months down the road and find out I should or shouldn't have done something.

 

The reason I've started using it is because the images in IQ aren't secured and can be easily viewed outside of IQ when my database is password protected.  I sync all my database on the cloud so want to secure them a little bit.

 

Is there a better solution?  As far as I've used it VeraCrypt has worked well but I use it minimally.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I paste plain text URLs into IQ DocPane, they are pasted by default as plain text.

If I want IQ to format/parse the URL as a link (blue color, underlined, and actionable by clicking) I need to press manually "enter" key after every URL's line. And pressing "enter" when you have several URLs is time-consuming and eventually I will not perform that, ending up with an IQ document without formatted links. 

Is it possible to copy a URL from plain text and paste it already as a formatted/clickable URL link into IQ DocPane?

I performed some tests (screencast: https://bit.ly/36iFSRw) pasting the same links into Evernote/OneNote, and the URLs were pasted as formatted/clickable URL.

When I paste plain text into IQ DocPane, the line breaks are being removed. I tried all paste special options: Unicode, Text, HTML.

I performed some tests (screencast: https://bit.ly/2zYi2yw) pasting the same content into Evernote/OneNote, and the text was pasted properly, keeping the line break. 

Is it possible to paste plain text into IQ DocPane keeping the line breaks, getting the same Evernote/OneNote result?
