font in clipping

Submitted by jan_rifkinson on 2009/07/24 12:30
I looked through options to see if I could figure out what was affecting the font size when text data is clipped from another source & couldn't find anything in options. Is this also controlled by that "newhtml" file which I've never gotten to work here?

Thanks.

clearing IQ clipboard

Submitted by jan_rifkinson on 2009/07/24 12:27
It appears to me that when a user copies something from an external source into IQ, that data remains in the cache until it is replaced. I'm not sure what (if any) harm this might cause but it might make more sense to have the cache clear as the clipped data is dumped into IQ.

There's also something weird gong on that goes like this:

Example, user browsing / researching the internet.
User clips data & saves as mht (that's my default because all data is kept in one place)
User switches focus to or restores IQ from task bar
Clipped data appears in the html pane wherever the focus is, i.e.

clear all fields option

Pierre & all, As I was working w IQ today (like every other day) I realized having an option to clear all optional field assignments might come in handy.

Specifically, it might be useful in the import dialog where the user now has the option to add field assignments.

Comments, thoughts?

Edited 07/24/09 01:23 pm EDT: just noticed that if user deletes items in field selection box, it clears those fields so maybe the above is a non-starter. If so, just delete the post.

Thanks.

.SNDB repository options

Submitted by KeithB on 2009/07/23 13:12
What would be the best forum option to reference and/or house .sndb example files?

For example, forum postings "Daily Logs" and Group Items by Sort Column and 1. Grid Display Modes contain small .sndb files (zipped) that hopefully help to explain concepts.  And there are a couple of blog postings that have attachments of .sndb's. (Pierre, is there any way the forum software can product a list of all the attachments?)

I thought perhaps either a "SNDB repository" forum or blog posting, containing either references to them would be a good way to help keep track.  The blog posting could only be modified by the owner,.

Are there any restrictions to number of attachments allowed in a forum post? And can more than one person add attachments to a single post?

After sorting when I refresh the items go back to their original positions

Submitted by jsolka on 2009/07/23 08:00
After sorting when I refresh the items go back to their original positions.
1. Is there anyway to save the positions of the items in a grid?
2. I remember that level-1 items used to be stuck in ther positions, but all sub-items one could rearange. Is this still the case?
Thanks,
Jay
