In your opinion, which bugs/features should be given the highest priority ?

This is mostly to get a feel of what seems to be the most important to users... for the fun of it, and for its potential usefulness.
 
So, here's what I propose.
 
1-  Review the mantis list and old feature/bug posts in this forum (a good exercise...) and think about what you miss the most in your everyday IQ usage,
 
2- Then list 10 (max!) features OR bugs already discussed*, ordered by priority, "1" being the highest priority. If required, a brief justification could follow each proposition. Then we can try to see which top 3-5 bugs/features are most "wanted".
 
 
*New stuff should be discussed separately, as it has always been.

Situation:
 
+/- 5 tabs open, one of then being the calendar
focus to calendar
clicked on recurring item
clicked delete
dialog displayed 'delete single occurrence or series'
click series
IQ closed w/o warning
 
It was as tho entire program was in memory & just dropped out, closed, like in a memory conflict. I'm not suggesting this is the case, only trying to describe the event.

Ordering, Sorting and Grouping Items

Ordering, sorting and grouping information, so it appears just the way you want, is critical for effective information management. And how information should be sorted has a lot to do with the type of information:
  • When writing the outline of a book for example, it is essential to be able to move chapters, sections and sub-sections around. One expects that once set, the order will not change.
  • Dealing with an "in box" however is different. New items should automatically appear at the top of the list. Notes under an item should appear as entered, unless there are many many notes, in which case, some automatic sorting is really useful.
  • Tasks and other date related items are also typically sorted unless they are tasks under a project.
  • In project management software, task order is important and somewhat but not completely related to the task date.

Live-Search

Live-Search is a mean to quickly search for your information.
 
To open the Live-Search window, you can:
  • Use the Omnibox (Ctrl+F). Enter a search string (e.g. properties) and hit enter.
    See 1. Omnibox for details

Advanced Search Pane

You can quickly search for items based on any of their properties using the "Advanced Search" Form (View > Advanced Search). For example, if you want to know what items were created or modified on a given day you would do the following:

I started organizing/updating section 5, searching/filtering 4. Searching and Filtering Items .  I didn't have time to move most of the text off the main page, but I will soon.
 
Any comments on how I've been redoing the manual, such as section 5?  I think it's a lot easier to find things. If I don't hear any "stop!", I'll keep going in this fashion.
