When using {CurrentView} as an option for the Program Title Bar, it pulls not only the name of the View but the number of items as well (if this option is selected). Would it be possible to have item count on tabs but NOT on the titlebar?

I am setting up 0.9.86 on a new PC and I cannot get the setting "Selected items back color" to the desired color. The last "digit" gets always reset.

 

Example:

I want to set &H0098FB98&...

No matter if it is copy-paste or regular keyboard input -> when I leave the InputBox with either escape or TAB, the last digit resets to 0 or F.

->&H0098FB90&

When moving around between all the different panes, whatever pane is active is highlighted.  However when moving back to the workspace, it is not highlighted, you can only tell it is active by virtue of none of the panes being active.

 

Is there any way for the workspace to be highlighted just like a pane when it is active?

sorry, this (0.9.86) isn't doing what I expect... Pressing F11 makes the layout alternate between the the panes being visible, and then getting undocked and relocated way down in the corner such that only part is visible... Or else, in a layout where I have HTML and Properties as tabs within the same pane, pressing F11 randomly puts now the HTML Pane, now the Property Pane down into the corner, leaving the other pane in place.

Is there a way to set this?  When I load a column set, I'd like it to load so that the column title is visible and not truncated.  Whenever I load a column set, I always have to manually adjust every column so they are the correct size.  In the user manual here there is a reference to what appears to have been some column sizing settings that were grid specific, however they appear to no longer exist?

A refresh when "group by bar" is on will "remove" item colors -- only in the grid display : changing the "sort" back and forth restores the colors.

The new layout capabilities are incredible!  I think it has addressed about every layout wish I've ever had (and then some) except for one big issue - there is still no way to focus/maximize the HTML pane.  For those of us who do a lot of work there, I think it's just as desirable to be able to maximize the HTML pane as it is to maximize the grid panes (which is possible with the Hide Panes command).  Some possibilities:

 

- A "hide grids"" command that is the opposite of the "hide panes", leaving only the Panes open?

 

- A "maximize HTML" pane command?

In version 85 it's now possible to combine panes like this, and use tabs at the bottom to switch between them.

 

 

 

Can we have these tabs at the top instead?  From a UI/UX perspective I believe the tab location should be consistent.  I also see under Tools > Options > General there is now the option to place tabs at the bottom.  If it's not too difficult, I'd think you'd just want that setting to apply universally.  i.e. if it's unchecked ALL tabs should be at the top (grid window AND panes), if checked, ALL tabs at the bottom (grid window AND panes).

Unable to reproduce this, so just reporting for the record:

 

I wanted to add a backup folder in options 2.4.6, using the dialogue box (was previously making backups in same folder as the file)

Noticed there was no create folder button

Navigated to my folder, noticed [OK] was greyed out

At this stage I either double clicked the folder, or maybe the greyed out OK button (I know: why?)

IQ crashed with error details below.

 

On restart, everything fine: add folder dialogue was complete and all worked fine.
