Default Scroll Bar Position - in Grids and HTML

Both of these are different issues related to scroll bar behavior:

1. I have my inbox grid set to sort by ItemCreated.  If I have it set to sort descending (ascending?), every time I open it, it is scrolled all the way to the bottom.  If I scroll to the top where it should be, and then close the grid, when I reopen the grid, it's scrolled all the way to the bottom again.  If I reverse the sort order, it opens scrolled all the way to the top, as it should.  So it's the sort order that causes this issue.

2.

Opening grids in widest tab zone/group : as an option (please...)

Submitted by Armando on 2016/11/06 23:33
Opening/moving grids in/to the biggest tab zone/group is often a problem here, everyday.

I tend to set my work space in a specific way (specific grids in specific tab groups) and will often reduce the size of some zones (they become barely visible) to be able to see the data differently, etc.

And I also often use the omnibox to switch between grids and between zones, and IQ will then disrupts the way grids are grouped by moving grids around to the wider space... And I really don't want that.

Could this new feature be an option we can turn on/off?

Thanks!

Problems with grouped column headers

I think I mentioned that already but can't find it.
Pretty time consuming bugs when groups need to regularly be recreated, columns are lost, etc.

(Those problems can be verified in a sample DB, V83)

1- If a column is already grouped "under" some other column, and it is readded (by mistake) by drag-drop from the properties pane : all grouped columns are disrupted.  No known workaround.

2- If a column is removed (not hidden) at the *left* of other grouped columns, those groups are disrupted. Steps in AdrssBook grid:
   - group priority, duedate, todoseffortInHours
   - group done and notes
   - Expand groups
    - Close the grid and reopen it
    - Right click on Todos to remove it
    - Both groups now include other columns.

Conditional Formatting Reference

1. Valid criteria

The following are valid expressions that can be used in the "Criteria" column of the conditional formats. %1, %2, etc are placeholders representing fields.
In IQ you would replace %1 by [Notes] for example

The supported conversion unary operators are:

  • type (unary operator) retrieves the type of the object. For instance type(%1) = 8 specifies the cells ( on the column 1 ) that contains string values.

    Here's few predefined types:
