Images missing from Sample DB

Submitted by PIMfan on 2014/10/26 14:34
Just copied the latest (0.9.26Pre-Rel33b) build of the portable version and extracted it. Created a new IQBase with sample data.  In section 1.1.2.2 of the Welcome grid, I noticed that there are some references to missing images.  As I started navigating through the topics, I found more than a few instances as shown below....Note that there is a "good" image reference in between the missing ones....

Using IQ on high-DPI displays

Submitted by Pierre_Admin on 2014/10/23 14:23
I'd like to create a user manual page on using IQ on high-DPI displays, used but some new laptops and tablets and am looking for your inputs as to what works best, and what needs fixing.

A bit of history first...
For centuries (ok... decades), PC displays have had similar DPIs (dot per inch), averaging 100 or so. Windows was built on this principle. The same for Macs, with a somewhat lower DPI of 72. Icons were 16 bits by 16 bits. Larger ones, 32 x 32, etc. Depending on the actual DPI, icons and apps looked smaller or larger. This was considered "normal".

Enter high-DPI displays, mostly on laptops and now tablets / convertibles / 2 in 1's...

Multiple values in a single "cell"

Submitted by gregory on 2014/10/20 20:23
I'm sure that it's possible, but:

I cannot find out how to say that a field in a grid can have multiple values.

My need arises because I want to allow more than one tag to classify an item, e.g. students|teachers|administrators.

I guess that this must already be the case for WIKITags, but I can't see where the field property has been set for that field.

Thanks!

cursor location in grid Item field

Submitted by jimspoon on 2014/10/01 15:16
(1)  When I move the cursor to a the Item field in a grid, and press F2 to enter Edit Mode, it is often to append text to the existing item.  Therefore for me it would be better if the cursor would start off at the END of the Item Text rather than the beginning.

(2) When I have the cursor in the Item Text field in the grid, and move the cursor up or down to the previous/next item, it would be good if the cursor stayed in the same horizontal position, rather than jumping to the start of the Item Text.

(3) I tried clicking on the Item Text field in the grid - it appears to go into Edit Mode.  Then I tried clicking at the end of the text in the Item Text field.  The cursor is not activated.  I am unable to get a blinking cursor by clicking anywhere in the Item Text.  If I then press F2 to get into Edit Mode, it goes out of Edit Mode.  So I have to press F2 again to get it back in to Edit Mode.&nb

Bullet list line spacing

Submitted by WayneK on 2014/09/25 11:23
Things are slow so I'll use the dead air to make a suggestion for improving bulleted lists in the HTML pane.  As I've mentioned before, I use the HTML pane extensively, so I'm interested in making improvements in the formatting options.

In many notes, I like to use an underlined note header, followed by a bulleted list.  When I do this in InfoQube, it always adds an extra 2+ line spaces between the header and the first item in the list (see attached example).  I haven't been able to find any way to adjust this.

I'd like to have the option to create a bulleted list below the header without any extra line spaces being added.  If I want extra space, I can add it manually.

This is not just an aesthetic issue.  I sometimes have many bulleted lists in the same HTML pane.  Navigating up and down these lists is more cumbersome if there are a lot of unnecessary line spaces in the

Grid display bug : focused item lower border hides the next item (ad infinitum)

Submitted by Armando on 2014/09/14 17:29
This is a fairly new bug. Started a few versions ago, not sure when.

Steps:

1- Open Sample DB

2- Open "Welcome" Grid

3- Remove the autoresize option for columns (right click on header, etc.)

4- Add 2 columns : "Notes" (Text field) and "Leads" (Y/N field)

5- Resize the "Notes" column so that it's pretty narrow -- e.g.
