Is this V1.0 of this product ever going to be finished?

I registered for this website over 4 years ago, because I need an ECCO Pro replacement. That is the greatest value of this product, at least for me anyways. That's its prototype, and that's how it was advertised, and from my point of view that is still its greatest value and promise.

I am annoyed by the lack of a final v1.0 InfoQube product in more than 4 years. Everytime I go to use the beta to see if it is DONE, it says "expired...please download the most recent version". This is annoying. Then when I do that and I go to convert my Ecco Pro files to InfoQube, the converters don't work, or the converted files require so much work, that seems easier to start from scratch. However, starting over with InfoQube file formats requires too much work, because the Ecco Pro files are significant in size.

entering second hyperlink in item text wipes out the item

In Item column in Grid, I used the Hyperlink dialog to enter a hyperlink (to a webpage URL) in the item.  I tried to enter a second hyperlink in the same item, and when I did so the item was empty.

This seems like a bug - but might it might be by design that IQ accepts only a single hyperlink in the Item field?

Subitems disappear in main view but reappear in hoist

Submitted by WayneK on 2014/09/03 15:12
Yesterday I had a lockup caused by another program and had to do a reboot without being able to save work in the open programs.
When I checked InfoQube today I found that I had lost some subitem notes.  That wasn't a surprise.  I started retyping the notes.  After
a couple of minutes I decided to hoist the item I was working on.  When I did that, all the missing notes reappeared.  See below.

Can I see where IQ backup is, without opening the IQ file

I have a custom backup folder for my main file, but cant remember where it is - I've had an IQ crash and want to get the most recent backup.
Can I see where IQ stores the backups without actually opening the IQbase file ?
Opening the file may modify the backups - probably not immediately but still, I dont want to risk it.

I do have a workaround (slightly awkward at the moment) - open file on a different machine.
If it's not currently possible, could it be 'arranged' ?!

Conditional Formatting

(There are important rules to follow for conditional formats to work properly; they are to be found at the end of this page.)

The conditional formatting feature allows you to apply formats (forecolor, backcolor, bold, etc) to a cell or range of cells, and have that formatting change depending on the value of the cell or the value of a formula. These get applied over the item-level colors.
